Character sheet from Afal Aerona
Demigod
Name
:
Afal Aerona
Gender
:
Female
Age
:
13
Physical Description
:
Afal has short blond hair, dyed from her boring mousey brown colour. She recently had a red streak put in her hair, and continues to put it in whenever she can. She likes the red, because it goes with her name; Apple. Her blue-green eyes always have grey flecked into them; and sometimes one of the three colours show more than the others. Her lips are butterfly shaped and quite a dark red, her skin colour is white, yet it keeps a tan all year round.
Personality
:
Afal is a happy girl normally, but sometimes she could have bouts of sadness, or worse...her legendary temper could flare. She's not normally shy, except for older and/or taller people. She can be funny, and loves cheering people up. At school, she was always called the Councilor because everyone used to come to her with their problems. Everyone was her friend, though she always thought of herself as unpopular; someone who didn't have many friends. Though of course it wasn't true. She seems nice enough and quiet, but you don't want to get on her bad side. Her temper can explode easily, and when it does...you don't want to be around her. Of course, her being a blue belt in karate obviously didn't help her "good girl" image, and she was kicked out from school to school because of her temper...and the odd things that happened around her. Afal has always been told she's bright, and smart...though she used to always come second or third best in schoolwork, popularity and everything else alike. Even so, she can always come up with a plan of some kind to save the day and she's not afraid to sacrifice herself for her many random friends. She loves to help people in general. She's a good singer and likes to write too, though she's no good at poetry. She loves writing. Especially novels, short stories that never seem to be that short and poetry. She had wanted to be an author, journalist, photographer or a teacher when she grew up; though she hadn't the chance when she was shipped off to Celtic Camp. Afal is also a very artsy person, who loved magic and mythology.
History
:
Afal was born in a small sea-side town, and has lived there all her life. She always had many friends around her, her family all held her close to their hearts. Her family loved her dearly, though it was a confusing family. Her mother and father had split up, and her mother remarried...only to find out that Afal wasn't theirs at all. They were all heartbroken when they found out, and her parents told her of the way they'd received Afal as a blessing from the Celtic Gods. They couldn't have children you see (except after they'd received Afal, her mam and her husband had a baby) and so a Celtic God gave them their child, as a blessing...and to simply get rid of her. The Celt God/Goddess (her parents were hazy on the details) had used the average powers that ALL Gods posses to modify their memories and make them think Afal was theirs. But they awoke from the spell, not knowing much; save for the fact that Afal wasn't theirs. She still sees the dad that had split up with her mam, but not often. He cares more about his other children and horrible wife...so much so, that he moved to Ireland. They drove her to the Celtic Camp and had a teary goodbye, telling her that there were magical ways of contacting them...before driving off. Afal missed Elen her mother, Siona her sister, Steve her step-father...even Mike her father and Max, the family dog! But the worst was; she didn't know who was her family anymore.
